Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has sought the resignation of CM Manohar Lal Khattar on moral grounds in the wake of the Dadam mining “scam”.

Addressing a news conference here today, Hooda also sought CBI inquiries into the earlier “scams” in the purchase of paddy and electricity meters in the state. He demanded loan waiver for Haryana farmers on the pattern of other states.

Hooda reiterated that his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not political but just a courtesy call. “I have met the Prime Minister earlier and will meet him in future as well,” he maintained.
