Five schools to be energy efficient

KARNAL: Five Government Girls Senior Secondary Schools at Gonder, Jundla, Indri, Railway Road, Karnal, and Prem Nagar, Karnal, have been selected for a pilot project under which these schools will be equipped with energy-efficient bulbs, tubelights and fans.

Five Government Girls Senior Secondary Schools at Gonder, Jundla, Indri, Railway Road, Karnal, and Prem Nagar, Karnal, have been selected for a pilot project under which these schools will be equipped with energy-efficient bulbs, tubelights and fans. 

Each school will be provided with 30 bulbs, 30 tubes and 30 fans costing around Rs 45,000 for each school under the energy conservation scheme of the New and Renewable Energy Department. — TNS
