Class 12 student who shot principal remanded in police custody

YAMUNAGAR: The Class 12 student who was arrested on charges of killing his school principal has been sent to police custody for two days by a magistrate’s court.

The Class 12 student who was arrested on charges of killing his school principal has been sent to police custody for two days by a magistrate’s court.

The student of Swami Vivekanand Public School was arrested for having shot dead his teacher who reprimanded him for having come late and not doing his homework on Saturday.

He shot her four times in her office, and then fled. Chhabra died a few hours later.

The suspect is now a major, having turned 18 earlier this month.
