Gurugram, July 19
The Gurugram police arrested the husband of Assamese actress and singer Bidisha Bezbaruah, who allegedly committed suicide in her Sector 43 apartment Monday night. Nishith Jha has been accused of abetting Bidisha to commit suicide.
A court sent him to a one-day police remand today. Bidisha’s family had said that she was depressed over the ongoing marital discord owing to Nishith’s alleged extra-marital affair. — TNS
