Hisar, February 13
The Railways today cancelled three passenger trains and diverted seven other trains due to blockade by Jats on the Delhi-Hisar section in Mayyar village.
A spokesperson said Sriganganagar-Bathinda passenger, Bathinda-Sriganganagar passenger and Sriganganagar-Ambala Cantonment were cancelled, while seven express trains — Ajmer-Amritsar Express, Gorakhdham Express (up and down), Kisan Express (up and down) amd Sirsa-Tilak Bridge Express (up and down) have been diverted to run via Hisar-Jakhal-Rohtak.
Five more passenger trains have been partially cancelled on the route by short termination on the Bhiwani and Hisar railway stations. While six other passenger trains have been short originate from Hisar and Bhiwani stations resulting in total collapse of train services between these two stations. — TNS
