2-yr-old mauled to death by stray dogs

A two-year-old boy was mauled to death by stray dogs at Bhadangi village in the Kosli subdivision of the district today. Victim Aniket’s parents, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, are labourers and are living at the panchayat ghar in the village.

The incident took place this morning when Aniket was playing outside the panchayat ghar. He was attacked by three or four stray dogs.

On hearing the cries of Aniket, his father Sukhlekh rushed to the spot and took injured the injured son to the Community Health Centre in Bawal town from where he was referred to Trauma Centre in Rewari, but doctors declared him brought dead.

On getting information, the police reached the trauma centre and recorded the statement of Sukhlekh. Later, Aniket’s body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem examination.
