Two incidents of fire reported

NEW DELHI:A fire broke out on the second floor of Nirman Bhawan today, an official of the Delhi Fire Services (DSF) said.

A fire broke out on the second floor of Nirman Bhawan today, an official of the Delhi Fire Services (DSF) said.

During the incident no injuries were reported.

Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused within 15 minutes.

An AC and a chair had caught fire in room on the second floor of Nirman Bhawan, said the official.

Nirman Bhawan houses the UD Ministry. 

In another incident, a fire broke out in a camping coach used by railway staff at the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station here today, a railway official said. 

No injuries have been reported, the official said. 

A camping coach caught fire around 2.30 pm.

"Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and work is still going on. Only after a full assessment we be able to ascertain the cause of the fire," said Northern Railway spokesperson Nitin Chowdhury.
