Outgoing general secretary, Manjinder Singh Sirsa who is contesting from the Punjabi Bagh ward number nine appealed to the voters to exercise their franchise on the day of polling in a big way. This election is associated with future of youths, he said.
In a message to them, Sirsa said that Delhi is the richest heritage for the youths of Sikh community. The city is a witness to many sacrifices of the community, including the sacrifice of Guru Har Krishan and 1984 anti-Sikh riots in which thousands of people were killed.
Appealing to youths to vote for him, Sirsa said that DSGMC is fighting with the government against the language discrimination.
