Man assaults live-in partner''s daughter, held

NEW DELHI:With the help of 181 women helpline of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), a man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his live-in partner's fifteen-year-old daughter.

New Delhi, March 24

With the help of 181 women helpline of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), a man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his live-in partner's fifteen-year-old daughter.

The 181 helpline of the woman panel received a call from a woman that her daughter's classmate was being sexually assaulted by her mother's live-in partner.

“The mother of the girl was aware of her partner's misdeeds but chose to remain silent. The incident came to light only after intervention of the girl's classmate and her mother. Incidentally, one day the girl refused to go home when her mother had come to pick her up from school,” said the Commission.

The other girl's mother was also present and asked the girl for the reasons for not going home and it was then the girl confided in her. Later the woman informed it to the 181.—TNS
