Chandigarh, April 19

The Operations Cell of the Chandigarh Police has nabbed a 24-year-old woman, who was declared a PO in three cases and was wanted in another case.

The accused has been identified as Anmol, a Sector 56 resident. She was declared a PO in May last year and later in two other cases in January this year.

The police said the accused, along with her friend Manpreet Singh, had visited jewellery shops and deceived the shopkeepers by showing them fake transaction messages after purchasing jewellery.

She was also wanted in a case registered against her on April 9 at the Sector 31 police station.
