Stray dog bites three in Sector 18, caught

Chandigarh, March 20

A stray dog bit three persons in Sector 18 here before being caught by a team from the MC on Tuesday morning.

The dog first bit a man outside his house at around 7 in the morning. He was bitten on his leg and foot. Following this, it attacked another person in the same lane. Later, the dog bit a washerman on his hand near Tagore Theatre.

“There could be more victims too. It was a stray dog as it was not wearing a collar,” said one of the victims.

On March 3, a female canine had bit two persons in Sector 49, including former DIG BK Chaudhary. —TNS
