Chandigarh, February 22
Unnas, a second year M.Sc. student at the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGI, won the boys' 100m dash at the institution's annual sports meet held here today.
The girls' title went to Kiran, a second year B.Sc. Nursing student.
Vandna and Ravneet topped the three-leg race and skipping events respectively.
The event was organised by coordinator Aarti Garg and members of NINE sports committee, under the guidance of Principal Sandhya Ghai.
Earlier Amitabh Awasthi, Deputy Director, Administration, PGI, inaugurated the event and encouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities despite a packed curriculum.
