The University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT & VD), PU, hosted the first of its kind international fashion symposium, a mega event on Exposure: Fashion-Technology- Business.

Dr Alka Pande, Curator, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, spoke on art as the soul of fashion.

Prof Arun Grover, vice-chancellor, PU, and patron-in-chief of the International Symposium, advised the fashion students to think big. “This is the fourth oldest University in India and we can come up with a cluster of creative departments such as fashion, fine arts, journalism, music and others so that more international and national experts are heard by students more often.”
