SDM visits Mansa Devi School, gives seven days to set house in order

PANCHKULA:Taking cognizance of a report published in the Chandigarh Tribune today, Sub Judicial Magistrate Jagdeep Dhandha visited the government school in Sector 4, Mansa Devi Complex, and ordered the school to improve upon its management of resources within seven days.

Taking cognizance of a report published in the Chandigarh Tribune today, Sub Judicial Magistrate Jagdeep Dhandha visited the government school in Sector 4, Mansa Devi Complex, and ordered the school to improve upon its management of resources within seven days.

Dhandha informed that the school heads have been told to ensure that all the work of the mid-day meal be done in one location and food grains must not be stored in classrooms. Along with this, he has asked that the toilets be maintained and construction material must not be randomly placed.  The SDM was accompanied by naib tehsildar and District Elementary Education Officer Sujata Rana and each and every room of the school was inspected. The SDM has told the authorities that he would visit again in a week’s time.—TNS
