A 32-year-old resident, Kavish, of Chunni Kalan village, was killed when his motorcycle was knocked down by a truck near Majatri village on the Kharar-Chunni road today.
According to information received from the Kharar police, he was working in a private company in Mohali. He was going to Mohali on his motorcycle. When he reached near Majatri, his motorcycle was hit by
a truck coming from the Landran side. He was injured and rushed to Civil Hospital, Kharar, where he was declared dead.
The police have registered a case against the truck driver who escaped from the spot.
