Amritpal Singh has become first Indian to feature in the starting line-up of a National Basketball League (NBL) team.
Playing for Sydney Kings against Melbourne United, the 26-year-old Punjab cager was on the floor for 14 minutes and was a perfect three-on-three from the field to finish with seven points.
Singh also posted a block and a rebound in the 90-108 loss on November 11.
"I was pleasantly surprised (on being a part of the starting line-up). I have been working hard in training and really gelling with my teammates,” Singh said.
