The BJP-SAD alliance today released its vision document here today for the coming MC poll. The vision document details the promises by the party for city residents and also brings out the achievements of the BJP during its tenure.

Putting up a united show, all senior leaders, including Chandigarh BJP president Sanjay Tandon, MP Kirron Kher, former MP Satya Pal Jain, and former Union Minister Harmohan Dhawan, were present on the occasion at the BJP Office, Sector 33.

Though the party is contesting the MC poll, issues related to the UT Administration dominates the vision document. The main point of the vision document is ‘10 Months vs. 14 Years”. The Congress ruled the MC for 14 years, whereas the BJP has Mayor from the last 10 months.

On the occasion, Tandon said the party had always given priority to the welfare of people and the document brought out the vision of the party, which took a holistic view of overall development of the city.

MP Kirron Kher said “The party will ensure overall development of the city, whether the issues are related with the MC, UT Administration or at the Centre level.”

The BJP has also assured more community centers in the city and all villages will be provided with modern facilities at par with the city.

Tandon said keeping health facilities on priority, the party had assured free treatment for the first 24 hours after admission in government hospitals, besides free consultation and medicines in government hospitals.

Maloya to get 6 new schools

Six new schools will be set up in Maloya, Mauli Jagran, Raipur Kalan, Industrial Area Phase 3 and the PGI. Six new sports complexes will come up in Sectors 56, 50, 38 West, 43, 34 and Manimajra.

BJP accomplishments

The BJP-SAD combine vision document also gives details on the accomplishments of the BJP in Chandigarh which includes relaxation of age for government jobs from 25 to 37 years and commencement of work of Kajauli Water Supply Lines to bring additional 29 MGD water for the city.
