In a scathing  attack on the BJP government,  former Union Minister Harmohan Dhawan said on Sunday it was his biggest mistake to support the BJP in the last  parliamentary elections.

Addressing supporters  in the presence of  veteran leaders Yashwant  Sinha and Shatrughan  Sinha  at his  residence,  Dhawan  said during the past four years, the BJP failed to  fulfil even a single  promise of the 60 it made to people before the elections.

Dhawan  said it was difficult  for him to answer people when they asked him what the party had done for them.

Dhawan challenged BJP leaders  to show even a single promise  they had fulfilled. Though Dhawan did not  announce his future plan, he said his identity in  politics  was not  because  of the  BJP, but because of the work he had done for the people  in the past 40 years of his political  career.

Former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha  and  Shatrughan Sinha  also  spoke on the occasion  and asked the workers to “wait for the change,  which has started”.

Yashwant Sinha  said due to the  wrong   policies  of the  BJP government, people  of the  country had been   suffering a lot.
