The Haryana Police have pasted posters of Dera Sacha Sauda head’s close aide Aditya Insan in Bathinda.

Aditya Insan was recently declared proclaimed offender by the court in the Dera violence case in Panchkula and he has been absconding since August last year.

In the poster, it has been stated that a reward of Rs 5 lakh would be given to the person who will give information and get Aditya Insan arrested.

The posters also have a photograph of Aditya Insan and of other absconding accused in the Dera violence case.

The contact numbers of various Haryana Police officials have been given. It is also stated that if anyone gives any information regarding the accused, their identity will not be disclosed.

Posters have been pasted on the walls of the District Administrative Complex, near District Courts Complex and at other places.

It is learnt that a police team from Panchkula also visited Bathinda and checked various places in the past two days.

The Haryana Police carried out search in the trans-railway line areas and Guru Nanakpura in the city, but it is not clear about the persons involved in interrogation.

The Bathinda police are tight-lipped over the issue, but a few officials, on condition of anonymity, have stated that since Aditya Insan had been declared PO, the pressure on the Panchakula police has increased to arrest him.

Bathinda SSP Naveen Singla said, “No official information has been given by the Haryana Police regarding the posters, but anybody can paste posters of missing accused anywhere.”

It is learnt that other main accused in the Panchkula violence case also hid in Bathinda last year.

After the arrest of Dera chief’s adopted daughter Honeypreet, she was taken to Bathinda were she stayed while she was absconding.

A senior Bathinda police official, on condition of anonymity, said the Haryana police could search or investigate on their own, but if they had arrested the accused, they would have informed the Bathinda police.

Aditya Insan is said to be the main conspirator behind the Panchkula violence, which erupted after a CBI court pronounced verdict against Dect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan.

Aditya Insan was able to flee from Panchkula on the day of violence and since then, he has been absconding.
