Two bike-borne persons today snatched the gold earrings of a woman.
Around 4 pm, Darshana Devi (58), a resident of Prajapat Colony, was walking down street number 4 in her locality when the incident happened.
After getting information, Civil Lines SHO Robin Hans, along with a police team, reached the spot and initiated investigation into the matter.
Police personnel also watched the CCTV footage of the camera installed outside the house of the woman where this incident took place.
But, the police failed to get any clue as only the faces of the accused were not visible and the number plate on the motorcycle was broken.
The SHO said they had recorded the statement of Pawan Jindal, husband of the victim.
Two days ago, two snatching incidents were reported in the city.
In the first case, two persons snatched a purse from a woman on the Santpura road in the city.
The purse contained a mobile phone, sunglasses, voter ID card and cash nearly Rs 6,000.
In the other incident, Sahil Garg, a resident of Malout, was walking near Children’s Park when two unidentified persons came on a motorcycle and took away his mobile phone and cash after flashing a knife.
