A meeting of the Dhobi Mahasabha was held in the city. State president of the Mahasabha, Ashok Kumar, was present in the meeting. Mahaveer Prasad was elected president for three years. The committee has also given rights to Prasad to elect the president of Mandir Committee. It was decided that if anybody was found drinking near the temple, action would be taken against him with the help of the police.
