Man killed in mishap

Tarn Taran, June 22

A man was killed in a road accident on the national highway near Piddi village outside the District Administrative Complex (DAC) on Thursday afternoon. Identified as Kuldeep Singh (35) of Jeobala village, his bike had a head-on collision with another motorcycle.

Kuldeep Singh was going on his bike (PB46X6251) when Amrik Singh, said to be rashly driving his bike, rammed into the deceased’s. Kuldeep Singh sustained critical injuries and was taken to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead. The accused is at large, the police said. — OC
