GNDU wins inter-university taekwondo championship

AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) won the All-India Inter-University Taekwondo (Men) Championship. The second position was bagged by Panjab University, Chandigarh, while MDU Rohtak secured the third position in the competition.

Amritsar, February 20

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) won the All-India Inter-University Taekwondo (Men) Championship. The second position was bagged by Panjab University, Chandigarh, while MDU Rohtak secured the third position in the competition.

The All-India Inter-University Taekwondo (Women) Championship was inaugurated at the indoor multipupose hall of the GNDU.

Nearly 110 teams comprising about 500 players from different universities will participate in this championship, which will conclude on February 22.

On this occasion, Director Sports Dr Sukhdev Singh gave the details about the activities of the department.
