AMRITSAR: Dr Santokh Singh, president, Chief Khalsa Diwan, announced that CKD will soon open a college at the Kairon village in Patti.

Dr Santokh Singh, president, Chief Khalsa Diwan, announced that CKD will soon open a college at the Kairon village in Patti. The announcement comes in the wake of a long pending demand by the village panchayat.

Patti MLA Harminder Singh Gill said 10 acres of panchayat land will be given to the project on lease of 99 years in the name of Chief Khalsa Diwan. Dr Singh informed the process for setting up the college has already begun and the decision will be approved in the next executive meeting of CKD on June 24.
