Like his N-number of hugely entertaining films, Karan Johar at a special session at NFDC’s Film Bazar at Goa is livewire. And entertaining and sincere. Even when he says things for effect and with a dash of dramatic flourish you know he is not faking it.
Designs to die for
Often, she would admiringly look at her mother’s jewellery, making mental designs, giving different shapes to those glittering chunks. Chandigarh-based Jaswinder Kaur, a jewellery designer and the chairperson of Zaira Diamonds, didn’t realise that she was taking her childhood passion way too far, and seriously as well!
Creative corner
The designer duo started it as a college project. Jasmeet and Sanjana were a team at Pearl Academy in Delhi. Experimenting with fashion accessories like bags, they started a venture called Snutch while they were still in college. After they passed out, it has become their passion and profession.

Says Inderdeep Singh, Director, Hotel Cama, “We see an onslaught of International cuisines and there is a surfeit of Western Fast Food joints too. We wanted to go back to the roots of Punjabi culture through the rich legacy of Punjabi food, which has not just created a name for itself in India but also abroad. This led to germination of Swaad Punjab Da.”
