Jasleen Royal and Soonam Kapoor Ludhiana's young prodigy, singer and guitarist Jasleen Royal made her Bollywood playback singing debut recently with Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan starrer Khoobsurat. For someone who started out from a reality show (India's Got Talent Season 1 in 2009) to being talked about on Twitter by the likes of Sonam Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap - 23-year-old singer, songwriter Jasleen Royal has had an interesting journey.

The cast of Yoddha the Warrior OXL Films in association with S.R Cinebiz launched the trailer of its up coming Punjabi film Yoddha the Warrior. After the blockbuster hit Sadda Haq, actor Kuljinder Singh Sidhu will be seen doing the lead role in the film, which is directed by Mandeep Benipal. This movie is a story of a young boy who fights against drugs and undesirable elements in the community.

Svayam (National Centre for Inclusive Environment and an initiative of Sminu Jindal Charitable Trust) in partnership with Yuvsatta — a Chandigarh based NGO conducted a workshop for over 300 students as part of The 9th International Youth Peace Fest (IYPF 2014). The fest was inaugurated by Sminu Jindal, MD, Jindal Saw Limited and Founder Svayam. Sminu Jindal was also conferred with the 'Global Youth ICON Award' for her work in promoting rights and dignity of the disabled and elderly.
