MET Department forecasts light rain in J and K, says no need to panic
New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): MET Department Scientist Charan Singh, on Sunday, said that light and moderate rains may be expected in parts of Srinagar and Jammu respectively. He also said that the weather is cloudy as effected from Pakistan's weather condition but there is no need to panic as the flood situation will not be worsened by rains.
Rains halt relief and rescue operations in Srinagar
Srinagar, Sep 14 (ANI): The ongoing relief and rescue operations in the flood hit Srinagar were halted on Sunday due to rainfall. Light rainfall is also expected in the state on Monday. Earlier, choppers dropped relief material in flood affected areas of Rajouri district.
