Yuvi may bat for BJP in poll-bound Haryana New Delhi, September 13 Party sources said Yuvraj is batting for a BJP ticket for his father Yograj Singh, who unsuccessfully contested as an INLD candidate from the Panchkula Assembly segment in the 2009 polls. "Nothing has been decided yet. The next list is expected on September 14 and 15. If Yuvraj wants to contest, our doors are open. If his father gets a ticket, he will campaign for the BJP in Haryana," a BJP leader said. The cricketer from Chandigarh is popular among the youth in the country and the BJP leadership feels his presence can help the party in Haryana and Punjab. Yuvraj has, however, denied any possibility of a political career with the BJP. Yesterday, he re-tweeted his sports manager Nishant Jeet Arora's tweet which said: "Dear friends, just to clarify @YUVSTRONG12 met BJP president Shri Amit Shah to discuss cancer problem in India n wht @YOUWECAN is doing." In the 2009 elections, Yuvraj did not campaign for his father Yograj, who lost to Congress candidate DK
Bansal.
