US academic honour for Chandigarh lad New
Delhi, August 31 Aayush Bhutani, a student of Bal Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37, has scored 99 per cent in Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), which is considered exceptional in the selection criteria set by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). SAT is a globally recognised college admission test that analyses knowledge of students who wish to study at higher education institutions in the US. Having become a member of the society, Bhutani is now entitled to lifetime benefits it offers, including scholarships, leadership development programmes, study-abroad opportunities, events connecting members with university admissions officers and access to internship and employment opportunities. The NSHSS provides scholarship opportunities to its members to defray the costs associated with college and life-changing educational programmes. Founded in 2002 by Claes Nobel of the Nobel Prizes founders’ family, the NSHSS annually selects talent from all over the world and then offers it resources to support transitions from high school to college and college to professional world. NSHSS chairman Nobel said: “I am honoured to recognise the hard work and commitment that Aayush has showed to achieve academic excellence.” The small wonder
