Chandigarh, August 31
The BJP today set for itself ‘Mission-65’ target in Haryana as it sought an end to dynastic politics and ouster of the Congress from the poll-bound state.

The culmination of party’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra today saw Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Sushma Swaraj descend on four corners of the state.

General secretary JP Nadda addressed a rally at Samalkha near Panipat.

At Palwal, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh called for waging a battle against rampant corruption in the state by helping the BJP realise “Mission-65” during the forthcoming elections. Union Mminister for External affairs Sushma Swaraj sought votes in Modi’s name in Jind.

Speaking in Jhajjar, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari asked voters to get the state rid of the “misrule” of the father-son duo, referring to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his MP son, Deepender Hooda.

Taking a dig at the Congress campaign of “Humara Haryana”, the Home Mnister said the state was nobody’s personal fiefdom. “The state can’t be mine or yours. It belongs to everybody, to its people, to all of you,” he said, adding that the party had fixed a 65-seat target inthe 90-member Assembly. Rajnath emphasised the party would go to the polls without naming a Chief Minister.

Gadkari said the BJP had shown the door to the mother-son team of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi at the Centre and it was now Haryana’s turn to bid goodbye to the father-son duo. “After the Centre, its now Haryana’s turn to say no to dynastic politics,” said Gadkari.

In Jind, Sushma Swaraj, highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Crediting Modi with bringing all-round development, she said he had given maximum representation to Haryana in his ministry. Addressing a meeting in Samalkha, Nadda said “ache din aa gaye hain” (good days are here) and the world was looking up to India after the Modi government assumed charge.
