Chinese delegation meets Prakash Javadekar to boost investment
New Delhi, Aug 28 (ANI): In a bid to build up trade relations with India, a Chinese business delegation met Information and Broadcasting and Environment, Forests Minister, Prakash Javadekar, in New Delhi. Javadekar said the discussions with the Chinese delegation were fruitful and the members would meet different Indian ministries to initiate business talks. The minister added that the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working for overall development of the country and everyone were reaping benefits from the good administration of the newly-formed government.
UK Deputy PM inaugurates business centre in Bangalore to foster economic ties
Bangalore, Aug 28 (ANI): United Kingdom's Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, inaugurated a branch of UK India Business Council (UKIBC), TechHub, a non-profit organisation, in IT hub of Bangalore to foster trade relations between the two nations. Clegg is on a mission to bolster trade and strategic ties with former colony India. The newly-inaugurated TechHub is a workspace for entrepreneurs and promises to support 1,000 start-ups within the next three years. During the inaugural speech, Clegg said that Bangalore would be the future window to global endeavours in technology and business.
After flag meet, Pak again violates ceasefire
New Delhi, Aug 28 (ANI): A few hours after a flag meet took place between India and Pakistan’s Border Security forces, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire in Akhnoor district of Jammu and Kashmir. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the government should take immediate steps to ensure peace along the border. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that the government should continue to hold talks with Pakistan and try to solve the situation peacefully. BJP leader Nalin Kohli said that the government is trying to ensure peace along the border and our army will leave no stone unturned to fight back and save the civilians.
