Gurgaon, August 10
Two minor sisters were allegedly gang-raped by four, including their landlord, in Binola village of Gurgaon on Saturday. The incident came to light on Sunday after the victims’ mother took them to a hospital.

The victim's mother, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, said she had come to the city along with her three children in search of a job a month ago. “On Saturday night, our landlord and his three friends forcibly entered our room in an inebriated state,” she said.

"All four of them came to our room and started thrashing us. Then they took me and my son to another room and locked us up. Later, they took turns to rape my daughters (aged 13, & 16), They screamed for help but no one came to their rescue,” she said. The accused left around 4 am after allegedly threatening the family of dire consequences if it approached the police. “The girls were in a bad shape, so I brought them to the hospital first rather than going to the police,” claimed victims’ mother.

After doctors informed the police, it got the medical examination of two girls conducted by a special board of doctors who have sent their report to FSL, Madhuban. Sources said the examination has confirmed rape.

All four accused, Ram Avtar, Ram Kishen, Mantosh and Ombir, were arrested and booked under Sections 376D, 342, 448, 452, 323 and 506 of the IPC and Section 4 of POCSO act.

The accused pleaded innocence claiming that they were being framed for getting the room occupied by the woman vacated. "We have arrested them, but the accused claim they were being framed by the woman for getting the room occupied by her vacated. They have named several neighbors as their witnesses. We have formed a special team, including child protection officer and a counsellor to speak to the girls. we are waiting for the girls’ statement and the FSL report," said DCP South Vivek Sharma.
