Shooter Jitu Rai (L) broke CWG record with an impressive score of 562 in 50m pistol event. Bathinda lad Gurpal Singh struck silver in the event. Gagan Narang bagged silver in the 50m rifle prone event.

Tamil Nadu lifter Sivalingam broke the games record in the snatch category, lifting 129 kg. Kutulu bagged silver.
