Soaring tomato prices drill pockets of common man
New Delhi/Patna, July 27 (ANI): Vegetable sellers across India are a worried lot as tomato prices have increased sharply from rupees 60 to rupees 80 per kilogram, thus affecting the sale of the vegetable. The soaring prices have also burdened the common man as it is not just seasonal vegetables that are becoming costly but basic items like tomatoes are also seeing the price rise.

Commonwealth Games 2014: India at fifth place in medal tally
Glasgow, July 27 (ANI): Indian shooters hogged the limelight on Day three of the Commonwealth Games 2014 being held at Glasgow. Prakash Nanjappa gave India the first medal of the day by winning a silver in men’s 10m Air Pistol event. Soon after, Apurvi Chandela and Rahi Sarnobat clinched a gold medal each in shooting as India continued its good show at the games.
