First train from Delhi to Katra chugs off Jammu/New Delhi, July 14 The service started 10 days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 25-km Katra-Udhampur railway line that links
directly with the rest of the country. According to Northern Railway, around 1,000 passengers boarded the train that left New Delhi Railway Station at 5.30 pm. The train is scheduled to reach the Katra railway station around 5.10 am on Tuesday. The superfast air-conditioned 18-coach train will cover the distance between Katra town in Reasi district of Jammu region and New Delhi in approximately 12 hours. The train will leave Katra at 10.55 pm on Monday and reach New Delhi at 10.45 am on Tuesday. "Shri Shakti Express" has one first class AC, five AC two-tier and nine AC three-tier coaches. The train will stop at Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Jammu and
