Know the people, be known for your work: Modi to MPs Faridabad, June 28 Modi addressed nearly 165 MPs during the inaugural session of the two-day training programme at Surajkund today. Home Minister and BJP president Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu shared the dais with Modi. Modi said the party would appreciate those who were able to carve a niche for themselves in the next five years. Introducing himself as a first-timer, Modi said the MPs should not hesitate in learning from anyone and at anytime, as performing well as parliamentarians was their biggest test. Asking the MPs to develop a sense of mission, expertise and responsibility towards their constituencies, Modi told them to use the social media to promote various programmes and gather feedback on their work. He asked them to focus on their conduct both in Parliament and in public. In his 40-minute speech, the PM asked them to improve their attendance in the House and strengthen their skills
by reflecting on problems of their constituencies.
