Don’t be cross!
In India, cross-dressing is a sexist concept in a strange way. When women did it initially, their cultural orientation was questioned; now it is a mark of their fashion prowess (read boyfriend shirts). On the other hand, masculinity has never been associated with cross-dressing. Whenever men slipped into women-wear, it has been strictly done to create humour on the celluloid. Off it, it’s the wardrobe territory of transgenders only.

Sudesh Lehri Through the comic lanes
While comedy is just a funny way of being serious, it is mandatory that it be taken seriously too! Known for his rustic, slapstick humour (that comes to him naturally, owing much to his Punjabi roots), Sudesh Lehri comes across as an out-and-out entertainer. In Chandigarh to perform at the grand finale of Videocon Connect Super Jodi contest, Sudesh talks about his journey so far and shares his views about the ongoing elections.

Water woes
