Ahmed Patel says, Congress ready to support 'secular' front; politicos react
New Delhi, April 29 (ANI): A day after key Sonia aide Ahmed Patel stated that the Congress may consider dropping its claim to lead the next 'secular' coalition at the Centre and lend support to a non-BJP front in order to deny Narendra Modi the prime ministership, politicos gave mixed reaction. While the Congress restated that it is ready to support any secular power, the BJP said that the Congress has already admitted its defeat therefore it is looking for support.



Maoists kill three in red corridor of Odisha
Malkangiri, Apr 29 (ANI): Maoists killed two persons in two villages in Mathili police jurisdiction of the Maoist-hit Malkangiri district of Odisha. The Assistant Superintendent of Police of Malkangiri, Siva Subramaniam, informed that around thirty to forty Maoists gunned down the villagers and warned that in response to the attacks, combing operations would be intensified in the area.



Ceasefire violation by Pakistan creates panic in border villages of Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir, Apr 29 (ANI): Repeated ceasefire violations along the border villages of Rajouri district in Kashmir created panic among villagers who flee from hearth and home, disrupting their normal routine lives. According to the villagers, there was indiscriminate firing from across the border in the early hours of the morning when most of the children were getting ready or leaving for school and the working members were preparing for the day.
