Twice the melody
Manish Joshi Bismil, Gurcharan Singh Channi and Ravi Mohan Aditya Balani and Suhail Yusuf Khan Suhail grew up following totally different routes to music. While Adi listened to film music and played on his keyboard, Suhail found inspiration from the sound of sarangi he grew up listening to. Following his uncles, Kamal Sabri and grandfather Ustad Sabri Khan, Suhail picked up the sarangi. Adi pursued music and went to learn formally at Berklee College of Music, Boston, US.

While Chandigarh folks eagerly await election results, artists are all eager to take part in Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy's three-day Chalo Theatre National Theatre Festival, which has been organised in association with Ras Kala Manch. Actors Raqesh Vasisth, Ridhi Dogra and Akshay Dogra have made a trip to Amritsar to support their family. We hear that Arun Jaitely is Ridhi and Akshay's uncle and hence the entire family is together. In fact, Akshay and Riddhi have spent many summer holidays as children in Amristar.
