Gurgaon/Kurukshetra, April 3
BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Thursday lashed out at the Congress, promised to end its mother-son politics and asked the voters for 60 months to change their destiny.

Addressing election rallies in Kurukshetra, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon, Modi brought Robert Vadra in the line of fire on controversial land deals and raised the pitch against Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, whom he accused of resorting to "rabid communalism" by appealing to Muslim leaders to ensure their votes are not split and sought the Election Commission's action in this regard.

In Gurgaon, Modi lambasted the Congress for shielding Robert Vadra's controversial land deals. "Kya aap jaante hain woh kaun baazigar hai jisne teen mahine mein apne khaali account me karoron daale? Wo kaun hai jisne kisano ki zameen bechi aur paise kamaye? Wo shehzade ka kaun hai? (Do you know the magician (Robert Vadra) who did not have a penny but got crores in his bank account in three months? Who is this person who sold the lands of farmers and raked in crores and what is his relationship with the prince (Rahul Gandhi)?" Modi asked the crowd of around 40,000.

The Leisure Valley echoed with responses of “Vadra” and “Jijaji”.

Vadra, who has drawn fire over his controversial land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan, has denied any wrongdoing.

In what seemed to be an answer to Sonia Gandhi's Modi bashing in Mewat some days ago, the Gujarat CM’s address hinged on the alleged real estate scandals in Gurgaon aimed to benefit Robert Vadra.

He alleged Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda was hand in glove with Sonia and Rahul and watched on while the farmers were being looted. "Hooda has been in power for a decade. Has he made any change in your life? No. Why support the Congress? We talk of women security and your CM says women should not venture out after 8 pm. He has no right to hold this office. Give us a chance and we will give you your right," said an aggressive Modi. Modi termed the Congress manifesto as ‘Dhoka Patra’ and asked Sonia to give details of projects announced by them that were realised in Haryana.
