Hiranagar, March 26
In an all-out attack on the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Narendra Modi today said three AKs were being praised in Pakistan, but these were dangerous for India. He said the three AKs were: AK-47 (the gun used by militants), AK Antony (the Defence Minister) and AK-49 (Arvind Kejriwal whose government lasted for 49 days in New Delhi).

“They are very much in news in Pakistan as AK-47 is being used by terrorists; AK Antony, who after mutilation of our three soldiers by the Pakistan Army defended Pakistan by saying that armed men wearing Pakistan Army uniform mutilated our soldiers; and Arvind Kejriwal, whose party map showed Kashmir as part of Pakistan,” he said.

After paying obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, Modi reached the hockey stadium in Hiranagar, 16 km from the international border at 11.55 am. He was welcomed by state unit leaders of the BJP. He started his 40-minute speech at 12.13 pm and launched scathing attacks on the Congress and AAP. The rally was attended by around 20,000 persons.

Targeting AAP, Modi said, “The map on their website shows Kashmir as part of Pakistan. One of their men talked about going for a referendum on Jammu and Kashmir. Clearly, this party is an agent of Pakistan and an enemy of India.” Attacking his political rivals by praising former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shahstri’s slogan of “jai jawan, jai kisan”, Modi said, “At present farmers are committing suicide because of Congress’ anti-famer policies. Now, their present slogan is ‘maro jawan, maro kisan’ (kill soldiers, kill farmers).”
