Chidambaram to present interim budget today
New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Finance Minister P Chidambaram will present the interim budget in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The vote-on-account will authorize the government to release expenditure on different heads till a regular budget is presented. Before the concluding winter session of parliament, Chidambaram had said the government would only tinker in areas that are essential to revive the economic growth which might include some changes in excise and service taxes.
I have the right to contest from any place I want: Ashutosh
New Delhi, Feb, 17 (ANI): Commenting on the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) first list for Lok Sabha polls and on contesting the polls from Delhi, party Spokesperson Ashutosh said that he had the right to contest from any place he wanted. He also said that the elections would give his party a chance to introspect. Politicos denounce Kejriwal for resignation over Jan Lokpal Bill
Farrukhabad / Solapur / Gulmarg, Feb 17 (ANI): Political leaders denounced Arvind Kejriwal, for resigning from the Delhi chief minister's post over the rejection of Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi assembly. Activist-turned-politician Kejriwal resigned as chief minister of Delhi on February 14, after his pet anti graft legislation was rejected by the state assembly, and also proposed for fresh elections for the capital. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, lashed at Kejriwal for hurrying and said he should have patiently awaited an assent on the bill from the lieutenant governor. Union Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid, refused to acknowledge the very existence of the

Narendra Modi’s development model is against poor: JD (U)
