Cong may extend session to push Bill New Delhi, February 13 The party didn’t appear challenged in its resolve to create Telangana today despite agitating Seemandhra MPs using a pepper spray and another allegedly brandishing a knife in the Lok Sabha at the time of Bill’s introduction. Government ministers, too, joined protesters in the well. Ministers MM Pallam Raju, D Purandeshwari and Killi Kruparani have refused to relent leading to demands within the Congress to act against them. “The question is where is the authority of the government? The Speaker suspended 18 MPS for ruckus.. Why did she not suspend Cabinet ministers who were also part of the ruckus?” asked a minister in the government. The Congress, after allowing Parliament to be disrupted for days, has now started to exhibit clear urge to form Telangana. Only two days ago, it expelled six rebel Seemandhra MPs from the party paving the way for the Speaker to expel them from the House today. That’s what happened today. Congress sources admitted it had become equally untenable for the government to continue with rebel ministers “something for which the BJP is taunting the Congress.” Tough signals * The Congress, after allowing Parliament to be disrupted for days, has now started to exhibit a clear urge to form Telangana * Only two days ago, it expelled six rebel Seemandhra MPs from the party paving the way for the Speaker to expel them from the House on Thursday
