Akalis rubbish Amarinder’s allegations
Tribune News Service

Chandigarh, February 12
Senior Akali leaders Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Ranjit Singh Brahampura today rubbished the allegations made by Captain Amarinder Singh against Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal.

They said the allegations were just a repetition of the sick lies told by the then Indira Gandhi government to justify Operation Bluestar.

“Amarinder is in the habit telling lies using the dead as camouflage. Even his lies on massacre of Sikhs, in which he gave clean chit to Rajiv Gandhi and the Nehru Gandhi family, includes the names only of dead leaders like HKL Bhagat, Maken etc.,” they said in a joint statement tonight.

“Amarinder’s allegations against the most respected leader of the Sikhs are just the latest in the series of conspiracies of the Nehru-Gandhi family to blame the Sikhs and their leaders for the most tragic army assault on Harmandar Sahib,” they added.
