Hafiz warns Pak against ‘secret’ Kashmir deal

Lahore, January 11
Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed today warned the Pakistan Government against striking a “secret deal” with India on the Kashmir issue.

“We cannot leave the Kashmiri people at the mercy of India. Kashmiris have not sacrificed lives to divide Kashmir,” he said. He asked the Pakistan government to include Kashmiri leaders in talks for resolving the Kashmir dispute. The US has offered a $10 million bounty for Saeed, blamed by India for masterminding the 2008 Mumbai attacks. — PTI
