Anna ready to launch agitation against UPA, calls for mass movement
New Delhi, March 30 (ANI): Veteran social activist Anna Hazare, who left for Amritsar to begin a series of public rallies under the banner of 'Janatantra Yatra' to garner people's support against the Congress-led UPA Government, on Saturday, said that the country can witness a change only through a mass movement. Hazare will address eight public rallies in Punjab during his five-day ' Janatantra Yatra ' beginning today from Amritsar.
Police hand over bodies of Maoists to their kin in Chatra Chatra, March 30 (ANI): Police at Chatra district in Jharkhand handed over the bodies of ten dreaded Maoist leaders who were killed in a gun-battle with its splinter group to their relatives. The ultras were killed in a clash with Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), a rival splinter group of the Maoists, at Lakramanda forest in Chatra district 100 kms north of Ranchi on Wednesday.
