Delhi twist: Cong, BJP offer support to AAP to form govt New Delhi, December 13 Eight MLAs of the Congress wrote a letter to the Lt Governor offering an unconditional support to Kejriwal's party. The MLAs sent their letter of support to the AAP after a top-level strategy meeting chaired by party chief Sonia Gandhi gave them a go-ahead. The BJP also asked the AAP to form a government while assuring it of constructive cooperation. Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel said all 32 BJP MLAs had offered support to the AAP. AAP leader Yogendra Yadav, however, said the party was not interested in taking support from either the BJP or the Congress. He said the formal party stand would be announced after Kejriwal's meeting with the LG on Saturday. The AAP has 28 seats and with eight Congress MLAs it would be able to reach the magic figure of 36 which is necessary to form the government in the 70-member House. AAP spurns advances * The AAP on Friday spurned the offer made by the Congress and the BJP. “We are sticking to our decision (not to form the government)”, party leader Manish Sisodia said. * Another leader Yogendra Yadav said the AAP was not interested in taking support from either the BJP or the Congress
