India approves draft of WTO deal Bali, Dec 07 (ANI): Union Trade Minister, Anand Sharma said that he would endorse a draft trade reform at the World Trade Organisation, removing a major obstacle to a deal. World Trade Organisation (WTO) kicked off the biennial ministerial meeting on December 04 to discuss new global trade measures in Indonesia. Representatives from 159 countries took turns to read out their statements on each country's decision on the ongoing negotiating issues, including food subsidies and trade facilitation. The Trade minister told reporters that he was more than happy and it was a great day for the nation.

Hashim Ansari alleged Congress creating Modi fear among Muslims, BJP says Congress doing vote bank politics New Delhi, Dec 07 (ANI): Mohammad Hashim Ansari accused Congress of creating fear of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi among Muslims and that Modi needs the community’s support to win the elections. A day after the allegation, BJP Spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said that Congress is scared of Modi’s popularity and is doing vote bank politics and nothing else. He said that Congress considers Muslims just as vote bank and not as ‘suffering lot’. Javadekar also said that now people have understood the ruling party’s politics and would not support the same.
