India observes fifth anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai attacks
Mumbai, November 26 (ANI): The nation today observed the fifth anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks that shook the entire nation in 2008, as Pakistani gunmen stormed prime hotels and city landmarks killing 166 people and strained already tense relations between New Delhi and Islamabad. The Mumbai Police held a memorial service at the Gymkhana. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and top Maharashtra police officers were present
to pay homage to martyrs. Residents praised the police for its vigilance and security in the city.
Train derailment kills three
persons at Delhi railway station
Delhi, November 26 (ANI): Joint Commissioner of Police Mukesh Chand
Meena said at least three persons had been killed in a train accident at the Delhi railway
station today morning. According to fire brigade official Manish Kumar, the accident took place when a train derailed while reversing to load
and unload parcels from a platform. Breaking wall, the train reached the footpath leading to death of the three. According to Meena, it was a case of gross negligence.

Urvashi Bhutalia’s no to probe case
New Delhi, November 25 (ANI): After noted feminist and publisher Urvashi Butalia said no to be a part of the committee probing the Tehalka sexual assault case and the victim resigned from the organization, NCW member Nirmala Samant supported the
developments. She said the decision by Bhutalia was very appreciable and there
was nothing to probe in the case after the accused Tarun Tejpal had agreed for his crime. Samant further said the victim journalist
also did right by resigning from the organisation as she was not getting any support from the same. She said now there
was a hope that the victim would speak up the truth.
