Goa cops return after quizzing 3 Tehelka staffers
New Delhi, November 24
The three-member Goa Police team probing the alleged sexual assault case against Tarun Tejpal returned today without questioning the Tehelka editor himself. The team, however, quizzed three employees of the magazine who were contacted by the victim to corroborate her version. A hard disc and some documents were seized by the team.

Dehradun November 24
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna has promised a free and fair trial in the alleged rape case involving additional secretary JP Joshi posted in the Home Department of the Uttarakhand Government. Talking to mediapersons here today, Bahuguna said nobody was above law and he had directed the DGP to carry an independent investigation in the case.

Guar price in free fall, farmers fume

Ellenabad farmer Sat Narain is in no hurry to sell his 50 quintal guar, a costly legume, which he has grown on 10 acres. With current price of guar hovering at Rs 4,500 per quintal, Narain hopes it will touch the Rs 30,000 per quintal mark of last year.
